Woman Charged With Attempting To Smuggle Drugs Into Wildwood

A woman was charged with attempting to smuggle drugs into Wildwood Correction Facility.

 

On December 31, the Alaska State Troopers responded to Wildwood Correctional Center for report of an inmate bringing controlled substances into the facility.

 

Troopers contacted Diane Vinberg who admitted to bringing in Suboxone and other unidentified pills.

 

Vinberg had self remanded on a $25 warrant the day before. The drugs were found on her person while doing a routine search.

 

Vinberg was charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 4 and Promoting Contraband 1 and was remanded without bail.
