Winter Weather Advisory For Western Kenai Peninsula

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Western Kenai Peninsula, Including the cities of Kenai, Soldotna, Homer, Cooper Landing and areas north of Clam Gulch, effective till 6pm Sunday.

 

Snow is expected with accumulations of 4 to 8 inches with localized amounts of up to 10 inches.

 

Highest snow amounts expected north of Clam
Gulch. Snow may taper off Sunday afternoon before picking up in intensity again late Sunday night into early Monday.

 

Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute on Monday.
