The Kenai Peninsula Association of REALTORS® and Alaska Housing Finance Corporation is bringing an in-person FREE HomeChoice Class to the peninsula.   This class helps prospective home buyers through the decisions and steps of the home buying process.   Learn about selecting a lender, working with a REALTOR®, home inspections, purchase and sales agreements, appraisals, budgeting and money management, shopping for a home, pros and cons of homeownership, energy efficiency programs, title insurance and mortgage loan products.

Yoga For Cancer @ YogaSol

Have you had a cancer diagnosis? Join us for a FREE 6 session course to support your body, mind and soul. With the stress and anxiety of a cancer diagnosis, it is in movement and relaxation where we can find the healing process. The first step is to breathe and the next is to join us for a six session yoga course to start your recovery. Classes will be held every Friday beginning April 12th. Space is limited, Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, April 9th.

You and your friends, lured by whispers of a legendary dragon’s treasure, are now prisoners in its forgotten lair. Work together, using only your wits and courage, to decipher the riddles and crack the dragon’s code to escape the clutches of the beast before it returns to find its lair disturbed.

Discounted Lab Tests: Chemistry / Hematology Profile – $40 (CMP, Lipid, CBC – no diff) Thyroid Screen (TSH) – $30 Vitamin D Total – $35 Hemoglobin A1C – $35 HCG (qualitative pregnancy test) – $30 *You must be 18 years or older to have blood work done.

Remember to fast for 12 hours prior unless you are diabetic, in which case you should eat.

Continue taking medications as prescribed. Drink only water. Payment will be made at the health fair.

You will be able to pay by cash, check or credit card. Insurance will not be taken at the Health Fair, but you are able to submit your receipts to insurance for reimbursement.
