A frank community discussion on the topic of reentry from incarceration.
Topics will include the challenges facing those reentering our communities as well as the successes of those that have overcome these challenges. There will be a panel featuring representatives from the Kenai Peninsula Reentry Coalition, Department of Corrections, Change 4 the Kenai, CARTS, The
Leeshore Center, and Love, INC. This is a follow-up to “One Alaskans
Recovery from Addiction,” and is free and open to the public.
The academy will run from January 14th 2020-March 17th 2020. Meetings will be held from 6 PM to 9 PM one night a week on Tuesdays at the Donald E. Gilman River Center.
The application deadline will be December 27th at 4:30 PM.

Students at KCHS are hosting a spaghetti feed and silent auction to support the Students in Transition program which helps local homeless students stay in school. The SIT program provides basic necessities such as transportation, hygiene products, school supplies and much, much more!
Come in to grab a plate of food and bid on the baskets generously donated by our local students and businesses. We are asking for a donation of $10 for adults, $5 for kids, and $25 for families
