The 2019 ASAA Nordic Ski Championships closed competition on Saturday with mixed-relay races on the Birch Hill course in Fairbanks.
The Soldotna girls team of Hannah Delker, Katie Delker, Sonora Martin and Erica Arthur placed tenth in the girls 4 X 3 kilometer relay. The Kenai girls placed 13th with members: McKinzie Ticknor, Summer Foster, Leah Fallon and Maria Salzetti. The West Anchorage girls posted the fastest relay time of 36:36.2
In the boys 4 X 5 kilometer relay, the Soldotna boys placed eighth overall with team members Jeremy Kupferschmid, Lance Chilton, Jack Harris and Bradley Walters. The Kenai boys placed 14th overall with Josh Foster, Tristian Summer, Samuel Roberts and Nathan Hippchen.
