The Gauntlet is the season-ending event to the Soldotna Cycle Series and is a checkpoint-based three-hour bike race beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 7th on the Tsalteshi Trails.
Riders compete to see who can complete the most laps, finding and stopping at the checkpoints along the way. Complete as many laps as you want or as many laps as you can, all participants must be finished by 1:59:59 pm.

There will be 7 or more checkpoints out on the trails, riders will be given a map and the location of the checkpoints at the start of the race. Following the race rules, riders will proceed to each checkpoint in whatever order they choose and collect pages from checkpoint, returning to the trail head to complete a new lap, and start another.
Complete as many laps as you want or can, there will be snacks, prizes and great camaraderie to be had. Want to do one lap? Race for one hour? Race until the last second? All riders are welcome and there are prizes for all manner of accomplishments.
