Much to the dismay of those out hunting for the KSRM Easter Egg, it has been found.

Michelle Gagnon and Renee Gagnon were searching in Kenai at the Bernie Huss Trail and Disc Golf Course when a certain tree offered a surprise.

Michelle Gagnon: “It was right across from hole 6, the little basket for the disc golf, in a set of birch trees, there was three of them and I was poking it with a stick and one of them squirted me with water, obviously there was a hole in it and popped the bark off and there it was.”

Wearing their custom-made Easter Egg Hunter hoodies, Michelle and Renee located the egg after noon on Friday and quickly returned to KSRM to verify that it was the correct egg.

The clue that clicked this year and led Michelle and Renee to the egg location…

Renee Gagnon: “Right off the main, so right when you’re on main you turn right and then you’re there.”

With that clue, The Gagnon’s were able to locate the 51st Annual KSRM Easter Egg.

Michelle and Renee Gagnon have been participating in the KSRM Easter Egg Hunt for 10 years and have found it three times.

Michelle Gagnon:” Yesterday was our 5th year anniversary for finding it the first time.”

KSRM asked Michelle and Renee what they planned on using the $2,000 prize for…

Michelle & Renee Gagnon: “AutoStart! Just put it the bank, Gonna flash it in front of the husband so he knows I found it.”
